We could. Don't quite know how to put the genie back in the bottle myself. But I care not one way or the other myself.
So - do you guys realize that Flatcon is the weekend right before Ohio Linuxfest?
Hmm...don't recall if we noted this or not previously......

I've got an idea for the cover. I just need the corn to get a bit taller. I'll talk to you about it tomorrow.

When is Flatcon this year? Also - do you want me to start working on some flyers / bumper stickers / CD distro labels? Paul - would you be willing to lend me some graphic support?

I'm also hoping we can organize the layout of the tables to make it easier for the folks who need to be behind the desk to get in and out of the area. As for promoting the club, go for it. The reason we (putting on the Anime Club hat) took over video programming was to help promote the local club. There is a table at the convention for promotional material for other events, groups, and clubs, so you could leave some flyers there, or even some CDs with various distros on 'em. You could also advertise a casual seminar/discussion group, though unfortunately, we don't have the breakout rooms available to us. For events, I would recommend planning some scheduled events and getting them up on the FlatCon website and in the program book. You don't necessarily need to have a prize, but if you do, let me know and I can see if we can arrange some prize support. We occasionally just get stuff to give away, so we might be able to divert something that would end up going to the raffle stock.

Then we'll settle up the date and the menu. One of the drinks of the party will be homemade Bailey's. Yum!
